pacesetter headers

wassup guys i'm looking for the best bang for your bug header and y-pipe option so your normal 2210s are out of the picture, i found 3 sets that sorta jump out at me, 2 are hedmans, hedman (elite, or street).

the other that realy realy jumped out at me is a set from pacesetter (never heard anything good or bad about this company realy). This is what summit racings website shows about them though,

Application Notes Will not fit HO or TPI models.
Application Footnotes: 1 - Flanged collector.
3 - Hookups for smog and engine management sensors.
6 - Comes with header extension to connect to stock system. Fabrication may be required.

I'm curious if it has air tubes (would much rather it didn't but, if it did i could cut them off and weld them up i suppose). Also wondering what the #6 is about???? It says it comes with the y-pipe so i'm confused considering it says it comes with header extensions to connecto stock system.

The goods are 16 gauge tubing, 3/8 flange, and they are mid lengths headers (+ 4 me) and unlike the hedmans it includes a y-pipe, the bads are it's a 2.5 in collector not a 3in as i kind of wanted.

Anyone ever heard any good or bad about pacesetter headers for f-body's? Or better yet do any of you have these on your car.

Am pretty interested in this setup so let me know all the opinions and facts about pacesetter headers.

I don't know anything about those particular headers, but my set of Pacesetter LTs and Y-pipe are very high quality and fit perfectly. I'd highly recommend the company for sure!

Back in the day before I got my 2210's used off some guy here, I searched about them, cuz I found sets on ebay a lot. People told me to run away and never consider those. That was about a year ago. Not sure why they said those things, but I def remember it. Just giving a heads up. It think the ones I had in question at the time where mid lengths, not LTs...
Good luck

I ran a set of pacesetter headers that were ceramic coated. They fit perfectly and I ran the combo for 30k+ without blowing a single headers gasket! they had nice thick flanges on them and were definitly not cheaply made by any means.
