Bending exhaust..

I was wondering how most of you guys bend your exhaust.. like if you don't want to take the car to the muffler shop and have them put it on n everything, what do you do?

reason i'm askin is i think i'm gonna run off my headers to exit in front of the tires, but i can't go to a muffler shop cause even though i have 1 gutted, i don't want to buy another cat so i'm not gonna use any..

if i just made a design would a muffler shop just make me it? or is there a way to just bend it yourself?

Normally you'd buy pre-bent sections and cut and weld them up into something that fit.
