Question on plug wires for new headers?

I have a new set of Heddman headers on order and was wondering if i can use my existing wires, of if I need to go with angled ends for all of them,if so can you buy a set where there all angled or would I have to individually by them?

I'm using 90 degree boots on my hooker super comps, and they're the same plugs i used when i had hedman LTs, and I don't have any problems.

MSD superconducters might be overkill, but you can buy the universal kit (w/ 90* boots)and route them yourself.

I wouldn't see any problems with other angled boots, such as 180* or 45*, but I have no experience with them, so I'm not going to say they'll work because I simply don't know, haha.

You can buy just the ends and a crimper to put them on your wires, but then the cost is close to what a new set of wires with the 90's will cost you,so it's up to you.....if you have a set of good wires and want to cut and crimp have at it/ you could just buy a new set and be done with it.I would highly recomend 90's as I think the others will still get to close to the headers......I ran mine under the header and love the way they clean up the eng. bay, plus you can pull them further away from the header in my opinion and heat rises so......
Good luck,
Mike

Thanks for the reply Mike.I too want to run my wires under the headers.I just talked to a racing bud of mine and he suggested going with the red 8 1/2 mill MSD wires. He said to buy a new set then crimp 90's on too the ones that come straight. So I'm assuming you can't buy this set and they would all come with 90's?????

I bought my universal set, and it only came w/ 90* boots...

on the other hand, MSD-31359 are red superconductors, pre assembled with 90*boots, and are 2/3'rds the price of the universal wire kits. they cost about 70 bucks, and are already custom length, for our application, ready to go.

I hope this answered your question!
