I am currently running SLP headers and AFR heads with angle plug heads and its just not working out for me. I just wasted a brand new set of MSD wires in 5 minutes due to clearamcne issues with the boots. Im not putting up with this anymore. Either the headers go or the heads go. What headers offer the most clearance for the plug wires with heads that have a angle plug design? And im sure that I will most lilley with have to get smaller diameter headers or go to long tubes which if I did will open up a whole new can of worms for me.

Relax Bottled, I have you a solution. There is a new product just out in the last few months that will solve your problem. I will have to look again, its in one of my hot rod or super chevy mags. What it does is snap onto your spark plug to change the angle/direction that your plug wire sits on the plug. It snaps onto the plug and then you put your plug wire onto the connection. It was very ingenious invention and I think you can even purchase them one/two at a time. I bet they start selling like crazy, I wished I had thought of it, but thats the way it goes. I think it will cure your problem. I wished I could remember what brand it was, maybe someone will chime in. If not I will try to find it when I can get back to the shop.

I've had no problems with my Hooker Super Comps using AFR 190's and now Brodix RR200.
