Fresh exhaust
I own a 89 RS with stock 305 TBI and just purchased Edelbrock headers three inch y pipe and Flowmaster American thunder 3 inch exhaust system, I have yet to install them due to my busy schedule, can anyone tell me what to expect as far as sound and what kind of gains to expect from the install.

from a 305 TBI. Your gains will mainly come from your ears. With that 305 TBI I wouldn't expect it to react too greatly. If you work your intake a bit, then you can expect some real gains. The car will sound great, but chances are it won't go much faster. You are not sucking more air in yet, all you are doing is blowing it out better. I think you know what I meen. Expect like 5-10 RWHP. It will seem faster cuz it will sound way more bad ***.
