Exhaust idea?

I have a 92 camaro rs with the hedman 68470 headers along with y pipe and no cat. I was thinking of doing an x pipe or crossover pipe hooked to 2 bullet mufflers with center bumper tips exiting. How loud will it be ,should I use 2.5 or 3" pipe. Anyway any input would be great.

Dual 2.5 will support alot of horsepower (look up the numbers- dual 3" is overkill for 99% of us here), be cheaper, and easier to route (ground clearance). I was considering doing that but I'm going with true duals becuase it's easier to tuck up with the dual cats. I had an H pipe and noticed no difference in power although an X pipe is a different story.

But what do you think of dual bullet mufflers to quiet things down a little? I need something and that would be easy.

They won't quiet anything down very much - they are purpose built racing mufflers for classes that require a muffler on the exhaust system.

i had a dual setup with glasspacks for a little while, louder than F at all times but idle. but even idle was louder than i would like. just crusing down the street you could not hear the person next to you yelling, and if you floored it, well you could hear the things for miles. not good for the sound police.
