Can I use hooker 2055's on my 92 camaro?

The new 350 goes in the 92 RS in a week and a half, so I need to figure out what to do about those crappy stock manifolds.

I need shorties because the car is lowered, and I checked on the hedmans, but they only offer y-pipes that exit in 2 1/2 inches, and most of the posts I've read here reccomend 3" catbacks. So I looked into the hooker 2055's.

My questions are: Does that high flow y-pipe have a 3" outlet? (summit couldn't tell me) Do they offer them without air tubes? (I'm going carbed) And does that Y-pipe run basically in the stock location? (I want it to tuck it up as much as possible)

Thanks in advance
Toby

The y-pipe does run in the stock location, and it is a 3 inch outlet on the y-pipe.

As for the angle plug question, not sure.

Angled plugs

Most shorties I've seen and used both on an 86 z28 and two trucks angled plugs would NOT work. I'm not sure about all shorties but most ads I've seen for them recommend straight plugs only.

To my knowledge, no. I had mine cut and the holes welded.

Holly's web site footnotes say that they will fit with angle plug heads for all models up to '89. For some reason when you enter '90, the footnote does not appear. I'm going to call them, though and try to find out. I really want a 3" catback, but nobody around here can fab one with mandrel bends for me.

Just got off the phone with holley, and they assured me that they will fit angle plug heads. I think I'm gonna place the order next week.
