I have a 91 Z28 with the dual cat setup and was thinking about making it into my own custom setup. i want to cut the cats off and put in two 2 1/2" bullet mufflers in their place and then maybe a little pipe and turn downs.

its similar to what i have on my SS.

does this sound like its a decent plan? im going to stay with the 2.5" piping and 2 mufflers and end it under the car. cheap and easy, i already have a 2nd dual cat setup to do it on.

I'm going to be removing my air pump and egr valve and hoses. would this setup sound good? anyone have anything close to it?

should i do a cross over pipe somewhere before the mufflers?
