Hooker 2055 Question

Hooker 2055 Question

I was looking at my headers today and at the bottom of the headers I noticed that the opening to the y-pipe was kinda small. I measured it and I think it was just under 2 inches wide. Would it be ok if I cut around the opening to make them bigger? Or should I just leave it the way it is?

I as well as alot of others who have used these opened up the headers closer to to the Y pipe opening with no problems, just leave enough material to seal good.
