I need a 4" cat-back, but mufflex's parts are too damn expensive. I also can't fit their system exactly how it is now due to my fuel set up, so I def don't wanna buy mufflex parts and then have to mod them.

Here is my plan, for the most part:

Delta force 30 series muffler (FLO-54033-12) from summit. It is the only offset, offset muffler with 4" in and out that I could find. If you know any others, let me know.

180* madrel bend. (HOK-12310HKR). This will make the pipe point up and come down before and after the axle.

4ft of straigh tubing. (SUM-640040). This will be intermediate pipe that comes off the Y-pipe. and heads to the rear.

This will be the bend that actually goes over the axle, a simple 90* mandrel bend. (WLK-43168), with long ends, so I don't have to use the 4ft pipe to fill in between the bends back there.

Does this sound OK. Am I forgetting anything? I want this to be nice and quiet. But it doens't need to be a spy car. Just real quiet, I have done a few searches and people all say that this muffler is nice and low tonned. Thanks for any help.

I am going to be mig welding it all myslef.

Oh and I will add a hidden turndow.

mufflex cat-back is like $550 and all this is about $300. What do you think?

OK, nevermind. Screw this thread.

I just finished buying a mufflex Y-pipe and catback. with spintech muffler. It will bolt to my 2210s, and all I have to do is notch the x-member, dimple the y-pipe and relocated the muffler a few inches. Then maybe get a heat shield.

It was a hefty $875 shipped to my door, but well worth it. It is getting cold out and I really don't feel like being out there forever cutting and welding my own pipes. I have a little $ left over from the paintjob being cheaper than expected. This is said to be very quiet when combined with a magnaflow race muffler as a tailpipe. Like dead quiet. I can't wait!

Good thing I get paid on Friday, this set up is REALL hurthing the old wallet.

But oh well, this is the life we choose, lol.
