if i put this on my 86 z28 camaro would it make it sound differnet

Probably. Although the word is Dynamax mufflers are the closest to stock out there. What are you looking to accomplish?
It makes more sense to wait until you upgrade the entire exhaust. You'll get both a performance boost and sound change if you do that.
