Axle/Gears: 3.42 open diff
Will 4th gen exhaust fit/
Will a 4th gen Trans Am exhaust (just muffler and tailpipes) fit and work on my 89 RS without having to do any major fabrication for brackets?

your probably going to get some responses to use the "search" feature, which is what I recommend too, b/c there is alot of info on here about that. But as for your question it will, but its going to need alittle modification I think.

It will physically fit but it will not bolt right in. For one, I think your exhaust pipe is smaller than the 4th gen exhaust's 2.75".
