Thoughts on how to ovalize exhaust pipe
In a quest to keep precious ground clearence, im going to attempt to ovalize some pipe, i could buy it from DR.Gas but i figure its worth a try, so, my thought was to fill the pipe with a 2x4 ripped down to fit inside the pipe tight against the sides at 1.25" height and rolling it with my truck or a roller from work in hope to have a nice ovalized pipe that is only 1.25" tall and as wide as what is left over from a 2.5" pipe. The only object is to get the pipe so it doesnt pinch on the ends. Im all ears for suggestions! Thanks

or you could call boyce industries and buy the pipe as they are much cheaper than dr gas and spintech.

I have done it in the past with the press brake at work and the tube filled full of sand. It came out very nice. The other thing I have done was to cut apart a u-bend in the middle and add in a filler peice. That worked out really well for a job that I did.
