I am in the process of putting my car back together and the headers look like they are a problem. I have 89 corvette heads and SLP 1 3/4 headers. It looks like wiring the spark plugs is a problem. Can I run shorter spark plugs? If so what ones should I get? Engine is 5.7 bored and stroked to 383. SLP runners and headers. 52mm throttle body new larger fuel injectors and adjustable fuel regulator and what is basicly a zz4 cam. Looks like I may be better off running the wires under the headers?

 

I am not exactly sure about what style or brand you need, but I do know what you mean, I have the same problem. Accell makes a shortie plug for specifically for headers, look into them.
