A friend of mine is a dealer for spin-tech, I have heard them on LS1's and on Big block chevy's. they sound kinda raspy, not too loud about as loud as or little bit louder than a flowmaster 40 series just has a different tone.and I think it is supposed to flow about 40-50% more air than the flowmaster.
Just they don't offer a catback setup for third gens. I am considering buying the LS1 catback and trying to modify but not too sure yet.

spintech is a lil more raspy than a flowmaster, but its a completely different tone.
if you like it on the louder side, its what id go for.
i had one, but you just cant beat the smooth and QUIET sound of a dynomax.
a spintech will defineately change the sound of the car.
mine almost sounded like i had a different cam in it after changing from the flowmaster.
good luck.

I have one but have you to get my car up and running with the new drivetrain in it. If you look down a thread you can see the exhaust that I built. My Exhaust Picture. I have heard lots of spintechs but have not heard a crossflow one. I can't wait to hear what is sounds like. I just am waiting on a bunch of one off parts for my car. Should have a sound clip up in the next few weeks.

They do have one for third gens. It is a single cat system you have to fabricate your own dual cat adaptation. This system sounds so good. My Z with the 3 1/2" catback sounds awsome without cats. I have to keep it up for emissions though. At least for the inspection. HAHA.
