lobg tube header project failed.

I bought u set of hedman long tubes for my 92, and didnt find out until after i had "modified them" that they dont work with a manual trans. so i was thinking, i have them sitting around and i have a 92 k1500 blazer with L05 and stock exhaust. could i possibly get these to work on my truck? i have a ton of exhaust parts laying around including a universal H-pipe and some tips.
thnx for any help =) Bill

What is causing them not to fit? There are members here who run them with T56 tranny's, yes with modifications but they are on there. Probably no more than what may be needed to fit them to the Blazer.

The hedman long tube headers dont fit with the manual's without modification is what i have been told. no matter how much i "modified" my car and the headers i could not get them to clear the slave cylinder for the clutch. even if i could get it to clear i would worry about the heat and being so close to the rubber boot around it. i ended up throwing some shorties on it but i still have the long tubes sitting around so i figured i would put em on my blazer. I have heard that the hooker super comp long tubes they make for 3rd gens will fit with the manuals and i plan on possibly getting a set and trying them out when i swap in my new crate 350.
