Just be sure to drench the old bolts in oil, penertration oil, WD-40, etc

The last thing you want in to round or break one of those

thanks, I was wondering if I might have to torch 'em too. It's the only thing I'm worried about seeing how they haven't been disturbed since new in '88.

Torch, Sawsall, cut-off wheel. Much better for removing old exhaust than penetrating fluid.

i had my headers installed, and it was completely worth it for everything that they went through. all in all i they to replace the metal coolant return, the oil dipstick tube, both of which fell apart, and then get out a stud that was stuck in the head. and i'd watch out for burning your spark plug wires, i just replaced them today cuz i burned through one and a good chunk of the way through some of the others

that and the headers are 3inch while everything else is 2 and a half inch. only reason headers came first is my y pipe was trashed
