OK i have slp shorty headers and the Y pipe that is slp, i just bought an american thunder 3" catback from flowmaster. my question is how do i fill the space and connect the two sections? is there a part number on a I pipe that with bolt right in? my y pipe has a 3bolt flange on it, and so will the catback portion.

You are correct, but he still will need the slip fit connecter from SLP. I know because I have them on my car.

He already has it...

I know about that too, I have SLPs as well. But I used one of the other flanges besides that 3-bolt one.

search for a "camaro test pipe" on ebay it might be cheaper to hit your local exhaust shop though.

Just remember if you live a state with Emission Checks your car will fail without the Cat. Now I know someone will pipe in with "we have no ficken emissions where I live".
Well not today, but the Federal government will mandate them in the future for all states.

Re: I pipe issue
i just have the rear section on right now cause i'm still working on the car, but you deffinately should not need to cut the pipes that come with the kit. i think for now i'm gonna use a two chamber 3" muffler i have in place of the converter.
