Header Gasket install
Well my header gasket has been leaking for a while, its been to cold for me to try and fix it until now. I noticed the first time i looked that one of the bolts had actually come completly off, it was the second to last one from the firewall. As i checked again a couple of months later another one of the bolts came off this time it was the one directly next to the firewall.
With that being said how what is the difficulty level of replacing the gasket, i assume since the 2 hardest bolts to get at are already gone it would make the job eaiser. Also any step by step instructions or tips would be very helpful.
Another thing does have a leak like that affect the vehicles gas milage and power?
thanks.

Re: Header Gasket install
to answer your question its very very easy to install...especially if you have the newer style of header gaskets with groves in them for the first and last header bolts so you never have to take them out, just loosen them...
if you dont have that style in there...it took me awhile to get all the bolts back in...and start from rear to front when putting them back in
i having almost no mechanical skills changed this by myself...its so easy it isnt funny
