dynomax cat-back?

i picked up a 3" dynomax cat back with a super turbo muffler. i got a good deal on, but it has a hi flow cat on it!

does anyone this setup and how does it sound compared to stock? i just want something that sounds good.

and should i leave the cat on or take it off, there isnt a law around here saying you have to have a cat, i am running no cat now but would it make it alot louder with the cat out? thanks

Re: dynomax cat-back?

I have a 3" cat back with a dynomax muffler 3" in dual 2 1/2" outs running stock cat and it is just alittle bit louder than stock...the cat makes it alot quieter, You could take my muffler off and it is still not loud, my next upgrade is going to be hooker 2055's with 3" Y pipe and no cat, it should make it flow alot better and I bet it is going to be alot louder, cant wait to hear it.

Re: dynomax cat-back?

I have a 2.5" version which came with the car and it is too damn quiet (which is why I'm replacing the muffler with a glasspack).
