Hey everyone. I have a 1989 IROC-Z Camaro and I'm from Pennsylvania. The guy at the local mechanics shop told me that all he has to do is see everything as working and that its in proper hook up order. I have a 305 TBI and I'm having a friend of mine from Maryland (SM Racing) help me out with outfitting a supercharger and carb and all that and tuning it, he already gave me some ported and flowed 350/305TBI heads for exhaust. So, I have a few questions.
1. No true dual exhaust then? Even with o2 sensor in same spot?:P
2. Air tubes, I'm guessing I can block them off easily...no biggy.
3. What am I going to need for all this added airflow? Is the Y pipe setup going to be alright?
4. I know, I know roots supercharger isn't legal, but its easily changeable when i leave all the electronics there, just not functional.
5. How wide should the pipes be, keeping clearance and all in mind.
Remember folks, I'm going to emission this once a year, I just need to know how I can look good for the people who will emission it, keeping in mind its only visual. ---By this I mean nothing actually has to WORK, just appear to be in the right place and like they might work. supercharger will be off every year obviously.
