Exhaust smoking A TON
When i bought my car it had a little smoke to it when i started it but now its smoking up a cloud behind it, any valves to check for or??

is it smoke or steam? steam would mean a cracked head, excessive smoke could be a leaky exhaust valve seal, or the best case scenario, you just have a leaky valve cover and its dripping on you exhaust.

what color is the smoke? if it's blue it's oil and thats bad. if its white and sweet smellin its coolant and thats bad too(blown head gasket) and dark or black smoke is fuel and that can usually be corrected.

It's a mixture of blue and white smoke...how much do gaskets run for ?

Worn valve seals are a pretty common problem with these engines once they hit 100K miles. They give off that blue-ish smoke because the oil in the heads leaks down past the valve seals into the combustion chambers and gets ignited with your mix when you start 'er up.
