Exhaust for 84 305
Exhaust for 84 305
Hi
I need help picking a good replacement cat-back for my 84 305 TA. I put a 3" gale banks system on it many moons ago and it is finally rotting at the muffler bend and the muffler is shot. Due to state inspections I desperately need one before winter blows back into vermont. I kind of like the sound of the magnaflows I have heard, but I see they are listed form the later year cars...do these require alteration to fit on an 84 TA? Also like th americn thunder, but see that these aren't listed for it either summit only shows a Force II which I haven't seen anything about here...I want a good throaty rumble like the banks I used to have, but don't want to pay 700 bucks either since I only get to drive it 4 months out of the year here... any suggestions for me would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

You will fall in love with not only the sound, but also the price of the Hooker Aerochamber exhaust.
I use it on my own '84, and I was going to post these on another thread, but here's the sound of the Hooker. Buy it from Thunder Racing and you'll be glad you did. It's an awesome flowing muffler and it sounds great both at idle and at WOT.
Here's the ear candy, recorded just this afternoon.
