I got a borla exhaust but im looking for that sound that makes it sound like the exhaust is popping, my dad said get some "cherry bombs" but I have no idea what they are. Can someone help?

 

its a brand of mufflers. if u want something that pops, try the SLP Loudmouth catback. they seem to be famous for that popping sound. personally, im not a fan of them.

 

i know i wont pass emissions but can i put one of those popper mufflers where my cat is and run my borla straight back from that? or will having 2 mufflers mess with the back pressure and such...

 

im not sure why you'd want to put two mufflers on your car. definately not a good idea. borla is good stuff, and cherry bombs are cheap $25 dollar glass packs at the auto parts store. Im not really sure what the popping sound is your talking about , but you could take the cat off and hollow it out or put a piece of exhaust tubing in its place. you wont pass emissions but it will definately make the car noticeably louder.

 

Do you seriously want that horrid log truck sound??? Overly small pipe and a glass pack(cherry bomb) will do the trick, but yer choking the life outa your motor-----thats what that popping is all about-----tryin to shove 5lbs of s*&^ into a 2 pound bag.
