Need Help looking for new exhaust system....

I have a 83 z28 that was swapped to a 350 and 350 turbo tranny and am looking to do a full exhaust as one of my first mods. I am looking at getting hooker shorty headers 2460's I was looking at the 2055's but they say only for 86-90 so I don't think they will work for me. For some reason though I can not find a single dual cat back exhaust system for an 83. I was looking at the flowmaster but it says it is for 86-91. Anyone know of a nice system for my car.........

It would seem you're looking for headers for the year of your car and not for the particular motor you have--no 350's in 83. You can't find dual cats etc. for an 83 because they weren't available until much later.

The following (direct fit) should satisfy your requirements: Hooker 2055's (Jeg's 520-2055). Catco high-flow converter (Summit CTO-9118). Hooker catback (Summit HOK-16823HKR).

I removed the air tubes on the headers.

so with setup by (direct fit) do you mean I will not have to do any modifying at all just take off the old and bolt up the new.....

Generally yes. I assume emissions aren't a concern, so you'll either need to cap the air tubes or cut them and weld the holes.
