Need help with headers for 89 305

Axle/Gears: Stock
Need help with headers for 89 305

okay guys I have a 89 RS 305 TBI with the 3" catback including the 2.25 inch inlet cat with 3" outlet but I want more power...What do you suggest for headers and such...also do i need to have the air tubes on the headers like the manifolds?

if your car has to pass emissions you should get headers with air tubes.

doesnt have to pass emissions but id like it to be able to if needed...any ideas?

i went with an inch and 5/8 headmen shorties 3 inch collector for headers. i wouldnt say you would have to get the ones with air tubes if your into having a better appearance as well. i would reccomend you find headers with an 02 bung already installed. the best part about putting in your headers is, putting them in. it takes some work but with common sense you can get it. i ended up pulling my steering shaft out and over, snapping off a temp sensor for the fan relay, AND removing all my airconditioning components
