Dual Exhaust?

i was wondering if it would be better to just go with a single 3 inch pipe back to an 80 series flowmaster muffler thats 3 inch in/dual 2.5 inch out or to have dual exhaust? and if it'd be better to have duals, could anyone recommend me a full kit? also thought about a borla exhaust system. was wondering what peoples opinions were about borla vs flowmaster as well

(i have hedman elite hedders by the way if that matters)

thx
