QTP exhaust cut out
I am setting up the exhaust on my 1992 Formula 350 as follows:
I will be going with a set of 1 3/4 inch shorty headers and eliminating the dual cat set up and using a y pipe eventually leading to a 3 inch no cat intermediate pipe. My question is if I weld in a dump with a QTP electric cut out valve is there any thing to be gained? I was hoping to hear some opinions or perhaps some info from someone who has done this. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, you'll get a little performance increase (nothing big). But your vehicle will certainly be much louder =)
If you enjoy scaring people (much like I do - even without cutouts), then you'll absolutely love cutouts - especially ones that cut out at the flick of a switch.
