Need New Exhaust
As the title states I need a new exhaust from headers on down. The block that was swaped into the car by the original owner is a 1974 350 cmj engine. The owner also pulled off all the emission controls too (air pump, egr). And as my car is not running right due to mixed 305 and 350 parts like wrong injectors and leaking exhaust manifold. I know the cat is parcially restricted and since my car doesn't run clean I don't see a point in putting a new cat on the car since my car will wreck that one too. YES I KNOW ITS ILLIGAL BUT THEY DON"T CHECK EMISSIONS IN MICHIGAN. And its not like I can put emission controls on this car anyway since the block is from 74. Furthermore as a certified mechanic that works at a shop I know the consiquences too. What is a good exhaust system from the headers on down without a cat?

Nobody in the aftermarket offers a bolt-on system without a cat.
But, you could do Hooker 2055HKR headers, most any 3" cat-back of your choice ('86-'90 TPI single cat application), and a piece of 3" pipe to connect them.
Or, if you didn't want to do any cutting/welding/expanding, a Catco 9118 cat to connect the headers & cat-back.
