i bought a super 40 muffler a couple of months ago and the other weekend i decided to buy a 3 inch intermediate pipe. The muffler is a 2 1/4. My question is, would there be a big difference in sound and performance from the 2 1/4 inlet/outlet vs the 3. I really dont want to buy another muffler (especially the same one). My idea was to just use reducers and keep the 2 1/4.
