Switch to 3" or stay 2.5"?? EVAC system or not?
Right now I am running Hedman 1 5/8" LT's with dual 2.5" pipe into 2.5" Dynomax Bullits. They dump before the rear.
I was thinking of staying with the Hedman LT's and going to 3" pipe and bullits. Do you think this will help my car? What about a X or H pipe?
I have also thougth about switching to Hooker 1 3/4" Lt's. Am I going to notice a difference over the Hedmans?
I have been playing around with the idea of installing a Crank Evac system. Not a pump, just plumb it from the valvecovers to the collectors. What are the Pro's and Con's of running this on the street.
The car dosent get much street time, but I do drive it to the track and cruise sometimes.
My motor/trans combo is in my sig.
What do you guys think?
Thanks.

You'd probably see more difference going to a 750 DP.
2.5" to 3" would not help at all with the 1-5/8" primaries. 1-7/8" primaries would move your powerband, but you again would not see much difference going from 2.5" to 3" with your current set-up.
I've only seen collector evac used on strip cars. I wouldn't think it would be very effective at street cruise speeds - but I can't say that for sure.

Yeah, I hope to be switching to a 750 Street HP this spring. It should wake the car up a bit.
I had considered going to the larger exhaust. I plan on going to a 383 later, but the exhaust is almost new and is not really holding me back.
I wonder how much et/mph I will pick up going from the 750vs to the 750 Street HP?
