Re: Mufflex and sportlines

got mine to work wit sportlines, headman LT, true duals with xpipe. its lowwwww but i'll be cutting in to the floor pan to get the mufflers up more.

the hookers sit a good 1"-2" lower than the headmans so it would be interesting.

Re: Mufflex and sportlines

I'm going to try it. If it's too low, I have a set of IROC springs I can use temporarily and I will try to trade my Sportlines for a Prokit. Plus, I'd actually rather have a Prokit than Sportlines. I'm going to try and do this over winter break, but we'll see. It's going to be tough to be motivated when it's 10 degrees out. haha

Re: Mufflex and sportlines

lol yea i was doin mine with snow on the ground, i was actualy out in the hail for over 12hrs doin mine, the results where worth it.

the only diff in the sportlines and prokit besides the extra .6" front is the increased rear spring rate of 130 to 150. the fronts are barely 15lb diff thats not noticable. the sportlines look better in my opinion.

your biggest prob will be the headers, i wasnt sure if they where the shortys or long tubes. the longtubes are lower than the headmans the shorties if u bend the pipe well u will def not have any probs. idk part #'s lol

Re: Mufflex and sportlines

They are the hooker long tubes. I already have hooker shorties on there now. I'm upgrading.

Yes, that's why I want the pro kit. The spring rates are better.

Re: Mufflex and sportlines

really only in the rear, personally the ebachs arent that great, and aftermarket set of linear springs with 750lb front and 150-170 rear and just cut them to ride height. both are too soft but a set of 750 fronts cut to sportlines height would be alot better. prokits stance arent that great to me but of course others taste differ... and they dont get rid of the *** draggin stance that is the 3rd gen since its a equal drop all around the sportlines are more aggressive and address this stance problem. the diff in lowering of the car between the 2 is negligable. a 1/2 an inch is almost nothing.
