Good: They are 1 3/4" primary tubes and flow very well for engines in the 400hp and up range; they fit the chassis and your accessories.
Bad: They are now discontinued and no longer available new. You can find them used, but used parts are not new.
Good: You can buy a set that look to be just as good from Dyno Don on this site. His are also 1 3/4" primary tube and reasonably priced.

they also have a 2.25 y-pipe as opposed to most systems that have 2.5" y-pipes

Re: What So Good or Bad About SLP Headers??
SLP made both 1 3/4" tubes and 1 5/8" tubes. If you cant find a set in the classifieds then send a PM to Dyno Don about his 1 3/4" headers for sale. You'll see the thread in the exhaust forum about them.
If you're keeping the LG4 305 in your car you might want to look at the Hooker 2055's. They're 1 5/8" and are great headers for a 305. 1 3/4" headers are more for built up 350's.

Right now I plan to keep the 305. I like the idea of using 1 3/4 headers on the 305 if and when i go for the 350 I won't need to buy another set.
