HELP!!! Possible exhaust problem

I have an 87 350 TPI i just bought. It will not stay running. It spits sputters and will not idle.
What ive done so far is :
Replaced leaking injectors.
Repaired two vacuum leaks
Replaced bad EGR
Swapped Mass air flow with my S-10 with a 350 TPI
Swapped ESC module - Was intermittingly throwing a code 42
Checked TPS dead on
Spark good
After the injector swap last night I checked fuel pressue it was good and held for several hours. I put the dist back in with #1 on compression stroke reconnected wires and double checked firing order. Fired up but still wont stay running. If i keep patting the gas i can force it to stay running but as soon as you let of instant off! The warmer it gets it gets worse. The exhaust seemed extremely hot and there were chunks of the cat in the drive and the fuel cap was hissing (i slowly bled it off by loosening the cap slowly) when i stopped fooling with it. Could the rich condition from the old injectors have clogged the cat and or muffler All help greatly appreciated!!!

Re: HELP!!! Possible exhaust problem

Ok pulled cat off chunks everywhere inside. It was definately clogged (total meltdown from leaking injectors).
Now im back to original problem, Wont stay running, thinking of installing new plugs i've heard when their fouled by gas there is little hope they will fire ever again, and i'm having a time getting it running.
Replaced leaking injectors
Compression check good
Base timing set with #1 @TDC on compression stroke.
Firing order triple checked
Sets code 42 whenever i can get it running a few seconds
Ignition module removed and tested at autozone
No known vacuum leaks Check with vac pump.
Any and all help greatly appreciated!!
Rechecking spark at plug ends per gm service manual tomorrow

Re: HELP!!! Possible exhaust problem

FIXED IT
Combo problem! leaking injectors+no start = raw gas in cat and fouled plugs. Clogged exhaust+fouled plugs = no start. Corrected problem checks good!
