What would I be best off doing, getting the y pipe from the 2055's (if it will work), buying the y pipe for the 2460's and cut the end off of it and put a 3 inch pipe on it so that it doesnt go down to 2 1/2 inch, or just get a custom pipe made for them? Which do you think would be my best bet?

 

I dont think you can get just the 2055 Y-pipe. Anyway if you look at the 2055 headers they dont have a conventional header flange they have a flange like a manifold would have so it would'nt work with the 2460's anyway. As far as the 2460 Y-pipe it does'nt appear to taper down to 2.5" it looks like its 2.5" the whole way once the pipes go into the Y so theres really nothing to cut off and add a 3" pipe. Looks like your having one made. It does seem kinda stupid the 2460 Y-pipe only has a 2.5" outlet when most cat backs are 3".
