alright well im happy you guys came up with that solution...wat about the SLP bolts? are the heads of the bolts smaller for more clearance around the flanges? if so i might buy those jus for ease and quickness...they are only like 5 bucks

I paid for the slp kit that came with a bunch of stuff i didnt use and i had to buy some other bolts for 2 of the holes anyway. I ended up with 3 diff type fasteners holding them on, what a pita.

Re: Anyone ever install SLP Headers?
That SLP installation kit was a complete scam, I sent it back, doesn't matter too much anymore though.
For my SLP headers I used all 5/16" grade 8 allen head bolts (AKA cap screws). Worked like a charm. I re-tighten them about every oil change, usually I can get like a quarter turn on them on average.

Re: Anyone ever install SLP Headers?
yea, SLP's install kit is crap, i bought it for the bolts, kinda figured i would get the 3 or 4 longer bolts that are required....NO. Just a pack of cheapo black headers bolts. I Used a set of 1" long SS 12pt ARP bolts for the majority and longer ss 12ptARP with the washer heads ground down a bit for the longer bolts. I think the longer ARPs i used were water-pump bolts i had left over after i changed brackets Works great and they all match!
