i have an 82 camaro with a 350 and i want to put a dual exhaust on it ive seen pics of cars that have long tube headers with straight pipes run right next to the drive shaft mufflers and just dump off before the rear axle... i was positive thats what i was gonna do.... until i looked under my car again and saw my trans mount, how do these people get around the trans support if i run under my trans support ill have an awsome 2" ground clearance i looked at alot of pics and it looks like some people relocated or took out the rear trans mount? how can i run this exhaust with the most ground clearance possible i want to run hedman longtubes with 2.5" pipe.

 

You can run hedman longtubes on an fbody? I have 2.5" true dual and I have very little ground clearance. 2" about, but thats not enough for where I live, its all fd up under there rite now because it scrapes on every bump.
