ok so i had a beutifull true dual exhaust on my car with two dynomax race round 6 inch mufflers in the back where the original tailpipes were...i just put in a ford 9 inch rear and sumped ls1 tank with external pump and filter and the pipes got in the way so i cut the exhaust half way and put two 90 elbows on it and welded them on and have two pipes comming out infront of the drivers side rear wheel...sure looks cool...but now its open pipes...and insanelly loud, car is eventually going twin turbo so it will less loud...but i want some kind of muffler ...or a resonator ...the pipes are 2 1/2 inch and im looking for the smallest round tupe muffler or anything that i can quiet this thing down.....the smallest one i found is 4 inches in diameter and i just dont have that kind of realstate under the car...its dropped...so any help would be great...

 

you only have a few options..

dynomax bullets
car chemistry collector mufflers or mufflers
or any other type of bullet muffler

you could use collector mufflers and bullets to double the effect.. i have the car chemistry mufflers.. same setup as you.. 2.5" duals turned before the rear tires.. its still loud but not near open headers.. check summit and jegs for collector mufflers and bullet type mufflers.. they have the best selection and info.. good luck
