They seems to be nice but I don't know. Do you think there going to be too loud? could I quiet them down with some different mufflers?

Re: Is this a good or bad idea?
damn. great price.
it does look like a nice system for the fact manni or shorties. it will be loud.lol
u would have to find some really thin sided mufflers for it. like the ones that spintech has. b/c ground clearence will def be an issue with regular 4 or 5" muffler cases. i am in the process of doin duals and i'm runnin dynomax bullets, but i like it loud. u could always have 2 sets of bullet type resonators. but it will still be on the loud side. i say go for it.
edit. i forgot to mention that, it would need a ballace pipe. u could get a summit h-pipe kit for like 40 bucks. then u would have something. i would also find out what size the piping is

Re: Is this a good or bad idea?
You dont NEED a balance pipe. That is a common misconception.
Sure, its better for performance nuts, but for somebody who just wants to get it loud, true duals is fine. Actually, it sounds better without the balance pipe IMHO.
And I am not just blowing this out my ***. I know a few people who have run true duals on various pickup trucks, and old el caminos and montes. No problem, you just gotta make sure to keep the pipes as close as possible in length.

I like his "yeah it is legal"
Uh nope. Not if the emissions center checks against the original routing chart. It looks like 2.25 pinch bent exhaust w/ dumps under the doors, and glass packs.

Re: Is this a good or bad idea?
Yeah, but most emissions places (at least around here) just strap it to the dyno and sniff. They didnt even check my last car for a cat lol.
And I am sure that dual 2.25" press bent pipe is more than enough flow for most of these cars stock. Considering that the LO3 and LG4 cars have SINGLE 2.25" crush bends, and all other weird crimps and tweaks from the factory.
I actually saved those pictures, so that when the guy at the exhaust shop tells me it cant be done, then I will have proof that it can LOL. Except I would be doing without he mufflers and cats probably.
