Which headers should I use?
I'm doing a 350 engine swap in my 85 which already has Edelbrock (longtube I believe) headers on it. Should just keep those in place, or use the shorty headers this guy gave me with the 350 I bought?
What are the drawbacks/gains of both?
I think the biggest problem with using the shorties is that we would have to do some modification to the exhaust setup which will induce extra labor and I'm on the cheap right now.

Other way around, and a gross generalization. Primary tube size makes a big difference in both.
I don't believe Edelbrock makes long tubes for our cars.
Cheap now almost always means more expensive later.
