Hello,

I want to do my exhaust over. I'm pretty sure I am going to go with Dyno Don's headers, Borla catback and Magnaflow catalytic converters.

I have some aftermarket parts now which were installed by a friend at the time.. long, long time ago And he told me what everything was, but so many years now, I have forgotten details. And I have no clue where he is now, so I can't ask him :P I just know it's Edelbrock headers and a Flowmaster muffler.

For the catalytic converters, I know the Borla catbacks need the 3" outlet, but is it a 3" inlet too? That's what summit says I need. I have bought and returned a bunch of catalytic converters for my current setup because people/websites told me it was what I needed and then the garage said it wasn't. I guess I'm asking, if I went with Dyno Don's headers and Borla catback, which Magnaflow converters do I need? And is there anything else I need to be aware of? I don't want to return yet another set. One place told me I needed cats with an air tube but I'm not finding ones that supposedly fit my car and have an air tube. Thanks and sorry to be such a newb about this

 

Doh, now I see Magnaflow makes a catback for 3rd gen... just when I thought I had my mind made up If money isn't an issue should I still go Borla?? Hmm..

Thanks... I thought I might need different ones if I went with one of those 3" catback setups, but just checking to avoid more returns I may be PMing you about the headers soon as well
