Which Muffler? (Good Muffler Benchmark Data Inside Too)
I live in an apartment complex and need a muffler that is quiet at idle/low rpms, but nice and loud and throaty on the throttle. Something that won't sacrifice too much flow too.
As it stands now, I have a 3" System with a Ypipe and shorty headers into a 3" Powerstick Chambered Muffler that ends before the axle. I might as well be running open pipes right now.
This week I am going to get mandrel bends mailed in and go over the axle with two 90's and two 45's and turn it into the muffler. Now I'm thinking about a Summit Turbo Muffler. I've read that they flow nicely, here on a benchmark test:

And actually the summit turbos look like they make more power than some of the "better brands".
Take note of the setup in my sig and tell me if you think a Summit Turbo will silence this setup totally or if it will achieve what I am looking for.

Sounds like you are looking for the same thing I was when I got the Magnaflow. You might search for my thread about it, "Out with the 80 series".
