exhaust help
hi i have a strange situation with my exhaust..i have a true dual set up..with edelbrock tes headers the exhaust is steped from 3 to 2 1/2 back to 3 in. i am running magnaflow mufflers and no cats ..motor is 383 with mini ram blah blah blah..anyway the car has been dyno tuned and it runs and performs great..but my exhaust has a snapping sound around 2000 rpms..it is really annoying..under full throttle it is not noticable and around 3000 rpms its gone ..when cruising in od you can hear it snapping..is it because of no cats ..again the car has no problems runs and drives great..just this crappy sound..any help greatly appreciated..89 gta with maf ..

Re: exhaust help
I had the Edelbrock headers and they junk. For a 383 you should step up to a bigger header. When I jumped from the TES's to Dyno Don's header I picked up .4 in the quarter, and fit much better than the TES. Especially with a 383 they are really holding you back.
