I hope this is the right forum for this thread...

I have a set of edelbrock headers on my car as well as MSD super conductor wires. The headers, with the smog accessories, dont leave much room on the passenger side for the wires. Because of this, I bought some insulated sleeves to protect the wires. However, they are still starting to burn even with these. The wires haven't burn't through, but they are turning white on the outside, which i know isn't good. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?

i'm confused as to how that will help with the way the wires come up through the header...??

 

run your wires under the headers, along the block,up behind the heads, to the distributer. thats how i ran mine and i too have the edlebrocks w/ emissions stuff.
