the front section may require mods to get to fit to your y pipe.
other than that, maybe have to swap out to 4th gen muffler hangers. pretty easy to find in the boneyard.

First of all, the SLP LM1 system is a catback system therefore you don't need to get anything to fit his Hooker y-pipe. I have the same system on my IROC but instead of using the SLP muffler I kept my Dynomax Bullet. All you have to do is trim the over axle tube accordingly and change the locations of the hangers. Quite simple and looks damn good.

i swear it said a 4th gen catback to begin with.... i could have read it wrong.
if the catback has been modified or cut off a car, there is a chance youll have to add some pipe or something to connect the catback with your y pipe or whatever is there. i have no idea if he is buying a new or a used unit.......
man......

Re: slp 4th gen exhaust on 3rd gen???
The over axle tube is what guys usually have to trim off or around to get it to fit. If the system came off a car and isn't new then where guys usually cut it puts the pipe in an awkward place once you try and reinstall it with your I-pipe still on the car, get what I mean? Little juggling and it should fit easily.
stage20, I apologize. I don't exactly recall the night I was having before I posted that but from what it reads, it doesn't seem like it was a good one. Forgive me for my short fuse. We're all trying to help and that should be taken into account regardless of whats being said.

my magnaflow exhaust didnt need trimming to go over the axel they just put it on and had to make a pipe to go from where the cat once was to the i pipe the kit will prolly come with a s-pipe that you dont need.
