Stainless Works Headers and the T5 tranny
Stainless Works Headers and the T5 tranny
The Stainless Works LTs that are being sold on Hawks website claim that they will not work on a car equipped with the T5 tranny. I emailed hawks and they told me that i would have to change the bellhousing and the hydros in order for these to work.
Has anybody installed these headers on a 3rd gen with the t5 and have tehy gotten around chaging the bellhousing? what is the difference in the t5 bell vs. the 700r4 or the 4l60 bell. size different or what? I am considering these headers or the Hooker 2210s. I was wanting to go with the stainless ones but do not want to go thru changing the bellhousing.
any help in this is appreciated
