bought the 2055's

so i bought the hooker 2055's yesterday and made for 2nd day shipping (might as well cough up 40$ for a 500 dollar exh sys.) to get them on asap while my engine is out and waiting to be dropped in. i just hope i wont be disappointed ive heard some of the horror stories about em, and one guy in my shop tried tellin me that hooker wasnt high end equipment
sooo me wanting to go with the edel TES but decided to go with with 2055's, also i have the catco cat (still have stock cat on) and i already have my magnaflow catback so im hoping for a great exhaust set up!

can anyone vouch for this being ok? i know everyone has their own opinions but info would be cool and ill come back when all is said and done and share my experience as well.

Re: bought the 2055's

whats up DD. so are those your headers? d*m they look good! like i said ive heard horror stories of 2055's but that post i thought wasnt about the 2055's? either way i know they are all mass produced so they can have defects, but do you think that might be like a one in a million defect?

also, those dont have AIR tubes and i need those for smog. that would be bad *** if you had some with air tubes

Re: bought the 2055's

1 3/4" primaries, 2 1/2" collectors into 2 21/2" to a 3" merge.
ceramic coated. 3/8th's thick flanges.

Yeah, they are more....but you get a lot more for your money.

I put a lot of time into these so they would be the best out there.

Re: bought the 2055's

I'm very happy with my 2055's. They fit great. If Don's headers were available at the time, I would have purchased them though.
