ok im on a budget 350 build so its gonna have a budget exhaust (budget not cheap mmm-kay?) and i was considering these but under application the 8th line down says "engine swap: no" so my question is why? whats the difference between a set that says "engine swap: yes" and "engine swap: no"? man theres to much to think about considering its a bunch of pipes

It means they're for an original-type engine (in this case an SBC), and not a BBC or a Pontiac or something.

Yes, but by the time you've added a Y pipe to those you could end up paying more than you would have for the 2055s.

not gonna have a y pipe per say my plan is to run two 2 1/2"-ish pipes side by side in the stock location and use a muffler with a built in x-pipe
