2462-1 Hooker truck LT's, Can we use them?

Hey guys quick question,

I just got a set of ceramic coated 2462-1 headers from the junkyard for 35 bucks!! They are in great shape and at this moment I'm kinda torn.

I was wondering if anybody has used truck headers on our cars? It looks like these would work with minimal modification. Any suggestions would be great. here's a link to what they look like.

From what I understand they will not fit.You are talking about doing some modifications though so you may get them to fit but I dont think it will be easy if it is even possible.good luck.Even If they dont fit you should be able to get well more than $35.00 for them from someone with a truck they will fit.Wait a minute,I have a truck they would fit if I put my 305 in my truck I could use them

BTW Robert, what you think of that new new metallica disc?

I have a 96 Silverado that these will fit in so If I don't find a way to get them in the car they're going on the truck.
From looking at the headers the only major obstacle I see is the rear tube on the drivers side.

Wouldnt the headers be to low to because of how high trucks are??

Not really, they appear to tuck up quite well.

the issues would probably be steering box/frame clearance, cant tell from the pic wether they tuck down by the motor or flare out a little. from the pic they seem to have a chance, but without headers in hand it would be hard to tell.
