Loud ticking 95' Camaro
Loud ticking 95' Camaro
I've noticed this morning a loud ticking noise under the hood... It only appears to be on the driver side and will sometime stop when I open the hood... Have no clue what this could be... We haven't finished paying off the car and it just recently started any advice to what it might be and how much it would cost...

from what you're describing it sounds like an exhaust leak. I don't think your hood has anything to do with it, just a coincidence possibly? You can try fixing it by tightening the exhaust manifold bolts to about 30-40 lb torque. Does the ticking go away or get quieter when the engine is really warmed up and driven for awhile?

Sorry, but ThirdGen.org is strictly dedicated to the Third Generation (1982-1992) F-Body (Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird). There are many resources out there for your 4th Gen Camaro.
Thanks and Good luck.
